The Wedding of Vanessa & Luis Angel

On January 12, 2008 I had the privilege to photograph the wedding of Vanessa & Luis Angel. The wedding planner was Viviane Fortuño (eventospr@yahoo.com), the ceremoy was held at the Nuestra Señora de Fatima Church in Hato Rey, and the reception was held at La Casona Restaurant in Santurce.

I have an iMAC!

Dear brides:

For the first time in my life I have an iMAC. This is the new iMAC 24" computer.

In just two days I learn how to do amazing DVD slide shows for my clients (bride & grooms), and much more. The monitor looks awsome and my pictures looks sharper and colorful.

The Wedding of Alex Cintron & Priscilla Barrera!

On November 2nd. I had the privilege to photograph the wedding of Pricilla and Alex Cintron. Alex Cintron is a Chicago White Sox baseball player and the bride (Priscilla) is a georgeous mexican girl. The wedding was held at the new Atlantic Ballroom at El Conquistador Resort in Puerto Rico. The music was played by Andy Montanez, a salsa singer star of Puerto Rico. I did it!

The Wedding of Jenny & Rob!

On November 4, 2007 was the wedding of this lovely couple, Jenny & Rob. The ceremoy & reception was at El Conquistador Resort in Las Croabas, Puerto Rico. The day was sunny and windy, but all enjoyed the big event. Here are some quick images of the day, enjoy!

 

In other news, I met the fabulous Justin Ungaro, a fellow photographer from Los Angeles who was there as a guest... yes, she was there with her camera gear too! I discover that we have many things in common, like the membership of the Digital Wedding Forum, and we admire the same famous photographers from the states. Too bad that I can't talk to her during the wedding, well next time we can take a coffee in the next photographer's convention. Here is a picture of her:

Before & After Images!

This post is for the brides that are looking for extraordinary images. Every picture in the wedding album will be retouched (pimples, shinny face, etc.) and will be enhanced too. What that means? Let's see the samples below.

The first shot you will see on the left is the 'straight out of the camera, un-retouched image file. The second (right side) has been given our 'touch' of retouching & enhancement. Can you see the difference?

My service in not finished on the wedding day, I dedicate my time to do this enhancements because you deserve the best; it is your wedding day!

An advice for the brides: Don't trust to 'Uncle Bob' to take your wedding pictures! Don't trust in your guest to take pictures with the disposable cameras on the tables!

If you are looking for a extraordinary pictures, you need an extraordinary photographer. :-) I charge a premium for my time and talent because I think I am worth it.

The Wedding of Nicole & Michael

Last Saturday Kimberly Del Pilar (my 22 years old daughter) and I shot a beautiful wedding at Las Casitas Gardens followed by a huge reception at Mirador Terrace in El Conquistador Resort at Las Croabas, Puerto Rico.

The hair and make-up of the beautiful bride was made by Adouard de Paris Salon & Spa; Jessica Rivera from Fantasy Flowers and Events provided the beautiful flowers & decoration for the event; the music was set by Entertainment Concepts.

The couple was a easy going and super nice too, I am a lucky photographer. Here are some of the images:

I am very excited! I was published in the July 2007 edition of Professional Photographer Magazine, the official publication of Professional Photographers of  America. The cover image was made by my friends Stephen & Jennifer Bebb from Vancouver, Canada.
The right / bottom image is my image of the year 2006 "The Bride at the Old San Juan" an award-winning image from the PPA Loan Collection Book.
