I am very excited! I was published in the July 2007 edition of Professional Photographer Magazine, the official publication of Professional Photographers of America. The cover image was made by my friends Stephen & Jennifer Bebb from Vancouver, Canada.
The right / bottom image is my image of the year 2006 "The Bride at the Old San Juan" an award-winning image from the PPA Loan Collection Book.
Last Saturday my son Noel Del Pilar Jr. and I shot a wonderful wedding at Las Casitas Gardens followed by a huge reception at Pablo Casals Salon at El Conquistador Resort at Las Croabas, Puerto Rico.
The hair and make-up of the beautiful bride was made by Adouard de Paris Salon & Spa; Jessica Rivera from Fantasy Flowers and Events provided the beautiful flowers & decoration for the event; the music was set by Entertainment Concepts.
It was those wedings that anyone had a great time, and the couple was a easy going and super nice. Here are some of the images:
Once the eye-catching front woman of Southern Californian ska punk group No Doubt, Gwen Stefani is now a huge box office in her own right. This date was July 18, 2007 at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan in support of her second studio album, The Sweet Escape.

I'm really honored to announce that I've been added to the prestigious "Platinum List" of Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Magazine. Last year I was looking through her Wedding Style Magazine, thinking to myself, "I wonder what it takes to get into this publication?" Then I read somewhere that a photographer had to be invited to be in the Ormonde wedding directory or even to advertise in the Magazine. I always admired the magazine as a showcase of outstanding photography. I never dreamed that I would get the invite. This is a huge honor.
Some people say it was the most popular day in the world. Well it was the best day for many fellow photographers; there were hundreds of weddings around the world on 07-07-07.
I was delighted to be a part of the wedding of these two wonderful people, Erin & Bukasa.
The 'getting dressed' shot was at Las Casitas Village near El Conquistador Resort in Fajardo, Puerto Rico.
The ceremony was at San Jorge Cathedral in Santurce, and the reception at Sonne Restaurant in the Old San Juan; Sonne is part of the Fortaleza St. restaurant cluster.
I was there with one of the best wedding planners in Puerto Rico Anne Marie Kleis & Gretchen from AMK Events. AMK events is the premier event planning company in Puerto Rico for distinguished clients who desire a combination of elegance and creativity for their very special celebrations.
